Hi, I’m Holly!

Wife, mama, writer, and horse nut.

I’m originally from small town New Brunswick but have spent the past ten years living the big city life in Edmonton, Alberta.  Now that I’ve been here a third of my life, I’m almost ready to consider it home!

I’m married to Nathan, who is an inventory planner by day and a worship Jedi by night.  Together we have two children – Topher, who is five years old and whose favourite pastimes are running, jumping, and pretending any stick-like object is a light saber,  and two-year-old Ellie, who spends her waking hours moving a stuffed puppy, a stuffed monkey, a blanket and a sleep sac, one at a time, to various hiding places around the house.  We also have a hyperactive cockapoo-poo named Chloe.

I love: Jesus, chocolate chip cookies, making snow angels, jumping in puddles, and oversized hoodies. I adore all animals but horses and dogs have a special place in my heart. I’m happiest on the back of a horse or roaming the aisles of a stationery store.

This is where I write about life:  The good times, the not so good times, and everything in between.  This is where I share my thoughts, my faith, my life, and my story.

Thanks for coming along for the ride!
